Thanks to everyone who donated supplies and finances that I’m delivering to an orphanage in Africa this week. We are loaded down with the maximum bags and weights possible. I can’t wait to share pictures.
As we travel this week to pick up our sons, I’ll be blogging as much as I’m able at our adoption blog at www.LittonFamilyAdoption.com. Today’s post, “On the Brink” reflects on a tough week leading up to this trip.

Shannon Litton is president of The A Group, a marketing and technology firm helping nonprofits, churches and Christian resource organizations tell their stories and build influence. She lives in Franklin, Tennessee where her most important titles are “wife” to Joel and “mom” to five children – ages 9, 5, 4, 3 and a baby (including two boys adopted in 2011 from Ethiopia). In her spare time, she sleeps.
Bringing experience from both technology and non-profit management, Shannon builds long-term branding strategies that take her clients to the next level. She leads teams in the successful planning, mapping and execution of creative strategies. In her role at The A Group, she provides strategic consulting for clients as well as overall business and financial direction. Her partnership in the brand development division allows her to oversee long-term direction for emerging and established brands. Her role as a mom keeps her skilled in Candy Land and Playhouse Disney.
